This transducer (1) is provided with a high-resistivity layer (10) which contains elastomers and has a volume resistivity of 1012 Omegascm or greater, a pair of electrodes (30a, 30b) which are arranged on both the front and back sides of the high-resistivity layer (10) and which contain a binder and a conductive material, and a medium-resistivity layer (20) which is interposed between the high-resistivity layer (10) and the electrode (30a) on the front and/or back of the high-resistivity layer (10), which contains elastomers and has a volume resistivity at least two orders of magnitude smaller than that of the high-resistivity layer (10). In this transducer (1), by interposing the medium-resistivity layer (10) between at least one (30a) of the electrodes and the high-resistivity layer (10) and making use of the insulation breakdown resistance inherent to the high-resistivity layer (10), greater voltages can be applied and more power can be obtained. |
