<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for delivering and deploying an occluding device within a vessel. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, the occluding device 100 capable of being used so as to reconstruct an aneurysm inside the vessel by neck reconstructive surgery or balloon reconstruction is deployed. The system includes an introduction sheath 10, and an assembly 20 for supporting the occluding device 100. The assembly 20 includes: an elongated flexible member 10 having an occluding device holding member 35 for receiving a first end part 102 of the occluding device 100; a holding member 62 positioned on the base end side, for engaging with a second end part 107 of the occluding device 100; and a support body 70 surrounding a part of the elongated flexible member 10.
