<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection element and others capable of imaging an image having high definition even at a distal end (on a chest wall side). <P>SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of pixels 20 arranged in matrix in a radiation detection element 10 having a rectangular form in a plan view has a pixel shape (rectangular) which is long in a direction parallel to a chest wall side and short in a depth direction crossing the direction. Further, external circuits such as a scan signal control section, a signal amplifying section and others are not provided on one long-side side of the radiation detection element 10, and the one long-side side is located on the chest wall side of a subject, to thereby eliminate an imaging defect on the chest wall side and improve a resolution in the depth direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
