<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method having the function capable of coping with safety for predicted various phenomena to a tidal wave in a small lifesaving boat placeable in a home. <P>SOLUTION: This lifesaving boat includes a boat body 1 and a deck part 2, which are mutually independent, and the two are integrated by being fastened in several places by metal fittings respectively installed in a pair such as draw latches 5. In addition, hooks or U bolts 6 are also installed in a pair in the boat body 1 and the deck part 2 in several places, and reinforcing means by ropes are also arranged. People get inside at once by easily removing the deck part 2 from the boat body 1 by these devices, and all the members can get out by removing it. Alternatively, when the lifesaving boat drifts on a sea surface, the deck part 2 is removed, and only the boat body 1 is used and can be rowed by an oar, a paddle and a bar.
