<p>A method of setting up a plurality of receivers to be used within a SDMA space division multiple access wireless communication system comprising: Causing the transmitters of the communication system to transmit sequentially 710 frames to each of the receivers in the system; making the transmitters transmit substantially simultaneously frames 720 to each of the receivers of the system; receiving from the receivers metrics computed on the received signals; determining values of some synchronization parameters in order to allow each receiver to discriminate between expected and unexpected frames; and sending the synchronization parameters to the receivers. Later embodiments are concerned with the sending and receiving of metrics and the synchronization parameters.</p> |
