摘要 An array substrate for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a plurality of arrangement patterns for forming a regular direction in the upper part of data link lines and/or gate link lines, thereby making a rubbing process smooth and accordingly, realizing an image of high quality. An array substrate(100) for an LCD device comprises a substrate(110), plural gate lines(120), plural data lines(130), plural TFTs(Thin Film Transistors), a pixel electrode, plural data link lines(122), plural first arrangement patterns(136), and an alignment layer. A display area(DR) and a non-display area(NDR) around the display area are defined on the substrate. The plural gate lines are formed in the display area. The plural data lines define plural pixel areas in the display area across the plural gate lines. The plural TFTs are separately formed in the plural pixel areas and are connected to the plural gate liens and the plural data lines. The pixel electrode is connected to the plural TFTs and is formed in the plural pixel electrode. The plural data link lines are connected to the plural date lines and are formed in the non-display area. The plural first arrangement patterns are formed in the non-display area. The alignment layer covers the substrate where the plural first arrangement patterns are formed. Spaces between the plural first arrangement patterns are formed in parallel with a first direction. The first direction is the same as the rubbing direction of the alignment layer.
