PURPOSE: A continuous casting apparatus for manufacturing double-layered metal slab is provided to obtain a desired contact interface between inner and outer metal of double-layered slab by employing inner and outer molds for controlling the solidification speed and structure of slab using an electromagnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A continuous casting apparatus for manufacturing double-layered metal slab comprises an outer mold(1) and an inner mold(2). A cooling device(4) and an electromagnetic stirring device(7) are installed outside the outer mold. An electromagnetic inner coil(6) is installed inside the inner mold. A cooling water circulation path is formed in the inner mold. Silts for application of an electromagnetic field are processed on the outer surface of the outer mold. A high-frequency electromagnetic outer coil(5) is installed on the upper side of the electromagnetic stirring device of the outer mold.
