<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization of a drive built in a motor used in various types of electrical apparatuses by minimizing restrictions caused by the size/shape of a case of an inverter IC mounted on a printed circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A motor drive built in a motor includes an inverter IC having an output corresponding to the number of phases of a motor winding, which is positioned on a printed circuit board of the motor drive. The printed circuit board has a substantially crescent shape. The inverter IC has a shape large enough to be accommodated in the outer periphery of the printed circuit board having the substantially crescent shape and is constructed by integrating a plurality of power switch elements, one or a plurality of drivers IC and a control IC for controlling the motor with resin material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
