摘要 <p>The present invention provides: an electrophotographic photoconductor which exhibits not only high environmental compatibility (because a binder resin using a plant-originating compound is used as a material for the photosensitive layer) but also photoelectric conversion performance and durability (wear resistance) that are equal to those of a conventional synthetic resin photoconductor and by which the employment of a substitute for a conventional electrophotographic photoconductor itself or a member thereof can be accelerated on a large scale; a copying machine using the same; and a dope to be used for the same. Since the binder resin exhibits high solubility in a solvent, the present invention also provides: an electrophotographic photoconductor by which the replacement by a natural material can be accelerated from the standpoints of manufacturing quality and manufacturability; a copying machine using the same; and a dope to be used for the same. An electrophotographic photoconductor which has a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, wherein the binder resin constituting the photosensitive layer comprises a polymer that contains, in the backbone chain, skeletons derived from a dehydroabietic acid.</p>
