<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress zipper artifacts and jaggy when generating color images from mosaic images. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a color plane decomposition unit for decomposing a color mosaic image into respective R, Gr, Gb and B pixels; an RÐB plane generation unit for replacing, at a B pixel position, an interpolation value of an R pixel surrounding the B pixel with a B pixel value and interpolating and generating an R pixel value ÐB pixel position; a BÐR plane generation unit for replacing, at an R pixel position, an interpolation value of a B pixel surrounding the R pixel with an R pixel value and interpolating and generating a B pixel value ÐR pixel position; sampling means for interpolating and generating pixel values for each of an R plane, a Gr plane, a Gb plane, a B plane, an RÐB plane and a BÐR plane; and luminance generation means for generating luminance of respective pixels of a color image by combining sampling values of the R plane, the Gr plane, the Gb plane, the B plane, the RÐB plane and the BÐR plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
