PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which easily secures desired electrostatic capacity, a method of manufacturing the same, and a capacitor unit.

SOLUTION: The present invention comprises configuration which can manufacture a capacitor 1A comprising: a first electrode layer 9; first conductive convex sections 14a layered on a surface of the first electrode layer 9; a first dielectric layer 6 formed on a surface of the first convex sections 14a and the surface of the first electrode layer 9; and a second electrode layer 7 formed so as to be superimposed on the first convex sections 14a and the first electrode layer 9 via the first dielectric layer 6.
