<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric material having a nanostructure and excellent in thermoelectric characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: The nano-heterostructure thermoelectric material is composed of a nano-heterostructure body, having a three-dimensional periodic structure in which an average value of a unit length of the repeated structure is 1 to 100nm, and in a matrix composed of an inorganic component selected from the group composed of a metal based thermoelectric material, a semimetal based thermoelectric material, and a metal oxide based thermoelectric material, an inorganic component selected from the group composed of the metal based thermoelectric material, the semimetal based thermoelectric material, and the metal oxide based thermoelectric material, and different from the inorganic component constituting the matrix, having a shape selected from the group composed of a spherical shape, a columnar shape, and a gyroid shaped, is arranged three-dimensionally and periodically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
