<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can properly compensate for the variability of ink discharging amounts of a plurality of nozzles when executing an image processing in accordance with an error diffusion method. <P>SOLUTION: A PC 10 compensates for the variability of the ink discharging amounts of the plurality of nozzles using target correction date for a target nozzle which forms dots at a position corresponding to a target pixel 217 with respect to the target pixel 217 in CMYK image date. The target correction data is data obtained by using the difference between a target value Dtarget obtained by using characteristic data related to the ink discharging amount of the target nozzle and a value Dpre1 obtained by using characteristic data related to the ink discharging amount of a first neighboring nozzle.
