<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten aluminum treatment apparatus capable of easily and reliably blocking the inside of a molten metal storage tank from the outside air. <P>SOLUTION: The molten aluminum treatment apparatus includes: the sealed type molten metal storage tank 1; a cylindrical seal member 3 penetrating an upper wall of the molten metal storage tank 1; a treatment gas blow-in shaft 2 inserted in the cylindrical seal member 3; a molten metal inlet channel 4 which penetrates a peripheral wall of the molten metal storage tank 1 and is provided with a molten metal inlet 45 in a recess in the tank; and a molten metal outlet channel 5 which penetrates the peripheral wall of the molten metal storage tank 1 in a sealed manner and is provided with a molten metal outlet 55 in the recess in the tank. A lower end of the cylindrical seal member 3, the molten metal inlet 45 and the molten metal outlet 55 are arranged below the molten metal level L1. In the molten metal storage tank, a space above the molten metal level is sealed with respect to each of the insides of the cylindrical seal member 3, the molten metal inlet channel 4, and the molten metal outlet channel 5 with molten aluminum L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
