APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VAPOR-PHASE REDUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for vapor-phase reduction which give a practical throughput with a small apparatus, facilitate control of the reaction temperature and achieve high reaction efficiency on the basis of a technique of carrying out a vapor-phase reduction reaction by utilizing a powder catalyst.

SOLUTION: An immobilized catalyst 130 supporting a powder catalyst is immobilized and retained in a reactor 110 in a plurality of piled-up layers, and the temperatures of the immobilized catalyst 130 are individually adjustable by a heating mechanism 120.
