FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: method to monitor roughness of road surface consists in the fact that average depth of grooves is identified on the controlled surface by the method of sand spot, additionally at the same sections in several points a value of electric capacitance of an air gap is determined, and the air gap is formed between the road surface and surface of a sensor of an electric capacitance instrument, when laid onto the controlled surface, then, using produced experimental data the averaged value of air gap electric capacitance is determined in the controlled section, which is comparable with the average value of groove depth at the same section, and during comparative analysis of the available averaged value of electric capacitance of the air gap in the controlled section for the specified type of road surface, the average value of roughness depth is identified.EFFECT: higher accuracy of average roughness depth detection due to reduced errors of measurement.1 dwg |
