PURPOSE: A light guide plate and a liquid crystal display are provided to improve light receiving efficiency using an LED groove for inserting an LED. CONSTITUTION: An LED groove(232a) is formed in the light receiving part(123a) of a light guide plate(123). LEDs(129a) are formed in the light receiving part. The rear part(220) of the light guide plate includes a light source region(L) for the LEDs; a first pattern region(M) including a first pattern for improving brightness; and a second pattern region(N) including a second pattern for securing uniform brightness. |
