PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission is provided to transfer high power by installing the rotary shaft of an operation roller between the rotary shaft of a first variable pulley and the rotary shaft of a second variable pulley. CONSTITUTION: A first variable pulley(1) has a variable diameter and contacts an operation roller(5). A second variable pulley(3) has a rotary shaft which is parallel to the first variable pulley. The second variable pulley has a variable diameter and contacts the operation roller. The operation roller simultaneously contacts the first variable pulley and the second variable pulley. The rotary shaft of the operation roller is installed between the rotary shafts of the second variable pulley and the rotary shafts of the first variable pulley. |
