PURPOSE: A mutant E.coli W strain with improved L-valine productivity and a method for preparing L-valine using the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing mutant E.coli W strain with L-valine productivity comprises a step of attenuating or deleting a gene encoding an enzyme relating to L-isoleucine biosynthesis in E.coli W and a step of removing a feedback inhibitor of ilvN(a gene encoding acetohydroxy acid synthase isozyme I).
