PURPOSE: An automatic abrasion compensating device of a brake lining is provided to automatically compensate a gap between an operating core and a core shaft when a lining exceeds a tolerance band and is worn out. CONSTITUTION: An automatic abrasion compensating device of a brake lining comprises a pusher(13), a fixing plate(14), a gap control plate(16), a gap control shaft(17), and an automatic compensation unit(20). The pusher is installed in an operating core(12) and moves with the operating core. The fixing plate is installed inside the brake and guides the movement of the pusher. The gap control plate is installed between the fixing plate and a braking unit(4). The gap control plate moves the braking unit and the operating core to the side of a core shaft(2). The gap control shaft is screwed to the fixing plate. The automatic compensation unit is installed in the fixing plate and is connected to the pusher and the gap control shaft. The automatic compensation unit automatically and regularly controls the gap between the operating core and an end of the core shaft.
