<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively reduce power consumption in input/output processing of transfer data. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing device according to an embodiment, a creation unit creates a descriptor including information indicating an area on a storage unit and state information indicating a state of an entry in which the information indicating the area is stored, and an update unit updates the state information according to at least one of writing and reading of data into/from the area indicated in the entry selected in accordance with the state information by an input/output unit.
