<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion damper that exhibits high damper effect and is superior in compactness by devising a torsion structure of a torsion bar spring. <P>SOLUTION: The torsion damper comprises a torsion bar spring 11, a spring holder 12 in which one end part of the torsion bar spring 11 is stored in an unrotatable state, a rotary damper 13, a gear box 30 in which a pair of bevel gears 39, 48 are stored, a rotary link 14 which places a torsional load on a torsion end 18 of the torsion bar spring 11, and a reversing link 15 fitted to the spring holder 12, and is configured to exhibit the damper effect by placing the torsional load on the torsional end of the torsion bar spring 11 through the bevel gears 39, 48 as reverse torque is applied to the rotary link 14 and reversing link 15, and then rotating the rotary damper 13 through torsional rotation thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
