<p>The present invention restricts the use of electronic coupons so as to not surpass a desired number even when multiple electronic coupons are written in a terminal device by sharing a memory region. In an ASP server (10), when it is determined that a writing process in which an IC chip (25) storing a second electronic coupon is overwritten with a first electronic coupon succeeded, the number of un-used second electronic coupons is cleared by returning the number of un-used coupons to a total remaining number. A second updating unit (116) acquires a use history containing the use date and the use number of the first electronic coupon. If the use date is after the writing completion date of the most recent writing process, the second updating unit (116) subtracts the use number from the number of un-used coupons. Meanwhile, if the use date is before the writing completion date, the second updating unit (116) does not subtract the use number from the number of un-used coupons. The latter use history case pertains to the use of an electronic coupon stored in the IC chip (25) in the past, therefore if the ASP server (10) subtracts by the number of uses when returning the electronic coupons, the electronic coupons of said number of uses will be prevented from becoming acquired.</p> |
