<p>The device (1) has deflection units (5, 6, 30) e.g. deflection rollers, supplying a material web (2). A pressing unit (40) is arranged behind the deflection units and applies the web on a workpiece surface (8). Active points of energy sources (41, 42) are provided in a region of the pressing unit, which sectionally stays in contact with the web. The deflection units are automatically and/or manually displaceably mounted at the surface so that a wrap-around angle (44) is adjusted. The sources heat the pressing unit to an activation and/or processing temperature of 100 to 250 degree Celsius. An independent claim is also included for a method for coating a workpiece with a material web.</p> |
