A OPTICAL FILM HAVING AMORPHOUS PATTERN AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An optical film for improving the shielding power and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the brightness by maximizing the pattern density of the optical film and to increase the shielding power by effectively distributing strong bright dots to be scattered through an amorphous pattern, thereby reducing the number of expensive optical films used in a backlight assembly and increase the brightness value. CONSTITUTION: An optical film(600) includes a material layer(610) penetrating light coming from the outside and a pattern layer(620) formed on one or both surfaces of the material layer. A bottom surface shape of an optical pattern(622) is formed by combining more than one from a polygon, which maximizes the pattern density of the optical film. The optical pattern increases the pattern density by having irregular sizes and arrangements and distributing bright lights to be scattered.
