PURPOSE: A large two-stroke diesel engine with an exhaust gas cleaning device is provided to reduce pumping effect required for maintaining the operation of the cleaning device. CONSTITUTION: A large two-stroke diesel engine with an exhaust gas cleaning device comprises a turbo-charger(6), a scavenging air humidifying unit(12), an exhaust gas purification cleaning device(24), and a large 2 administration diesel engine(1). The turbo-charger comprises an exhaust gas-drive turbine(7) and a compressor(9) driven by a turbine to supply scavenging air to an engine cylinder. The scavenging air humidifying unit comprises an inlet for seawater and an outlet for return water. The exhaust gas purification cleaning device has an inlet for salty water. The exhaust gas purification cleaning device produces mist. The large 2 administration diesel engine comprises a conduit(23). The large 2 administration diesel engine is operated by heavy fuel. |
