<p>The disclosed electrical apparatus (14) for igniting a flash lamp (12) comprises: - two connection terminals (26) for connecting the flash lamp (12), - a main power supply circuit (28) for the flash lamp (12), the main power supply circuit (28) comprising a capacitor (32) and a controllable electronic switch (36) which are connected in series to the two connection terminals (26), - an auxiliary power supply circuit (30) for the flash lamp (12), the auxiliary power supply circuit (30) comprising a pre-discharge current generator (38) connected to the connection terminals (26) of the flash lamp (12), and - an electrical transformer (40) comprising a primary winding (48) connected to a device (50) for triggering the pre-discharge current and a secondary winding (52) connected to the pre-discharge current generator (38). The main power supply circuit (28) further comprises an inductive member (34) connected in series to the capacitor (32), the controllable switch (36) and the two connection terminals (26), and the secondary winding (52) is connected in parallel to the connection terminals (26) of the flash lamp (12).</p> |
