<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver that enhances the electrical reliability of a connection portion between a circuit board and a flexible printed circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transceiver comprises an upper housing and a lower housing which house an optical subassembly and a circuit board. A flexible printed circuit board 91 has one ends 91c, 92c, hairpins 91a, 92a, and the other ends 91e, 92e, and is connected with, at one ends 91c, 92c, the optical subassembly and extended upward, then bent downward via the hairpins 91a, 92a, extended along the surface of the circuit board and connected with, at the other ends 91e, 92e, pads 40i, 40j of the circuit board. The circuit board has lead devices 95, 96. Portions between the other ends 91e, 92e and the hairpins 91a, 92a of the flexible printed circuit boards 91, 92 are sandwiched by the circuit board and the lead devices 95, 96. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
