PURPOSE: A linear tube type LED lamp lighting device is provided to prevent damage of the internal circuit by intercepting operation of fluorescent lamp filaments through operation of the protection circuit. CONSTITUTION: A connecting device is equipped with a connection terminal electrically connected to a linear tube type LED lamp. A DC power supply(210) converts the input AC voltage into DC voltage and provides DC output voltage. A comparator(231) compares sizes of the output voltage of the DC power supply and the cut off voltage. A signal generator(235) generates a control signal according to the output of the comparator.
