<p>PURPOSE: A user input sensing device and an electronic device including the same are provided to raise the accuracy and resolution of touch and to calculate a touch area. CONSTITUTION: A driving unit(210) includes a first storage battery and a switch connected with electrode pads, charges and floats the electrode pads by using the switch, and outputs a voltage corresponding to a voltage signal applied to the first storage battery. A detecting unit(220) outputs a touch detection value by receiving a difference voltage between the voltage and a voltage of a reference cell. A signal processing unit(230) calculates a touch area by using the touch detection value and calculates touch coordinates by using the touch area. The detecting unit processes the touch detection value to make the touch detection value linearly proportional to the touch area.
