The invention relates to a method (1) for the transmission of K data streams from a first station to their respective K destination stations, wherein K>=2. The stations are interconnected by links, belong to a single logic network and implement multi-carrier modulation during transmission. Each link between the first station and one of the K destination stations is associated with a table, known as a tone map, containing orders of constellations associated with the respective carriers. The method consists in determining frequency-orthogonal K tables from K tables that were initially determined, said determination consisting in: defining K decision functions Deltak [m] in which k is the link index and m is the carrier index, 1<=k<=K and 1<=m<=M; initialising a set M with the indices of the carriers to be allocated, M = {1,...,Mu}; initialising to zero the K orthogonal tables for each carrier of index m ∊ M; and iterating the following steps for as long as set M is not empty, namely selecting the link (1) that minimises the ratio between the capacity of the orthogonal table and the capacity weighted by a given factor alphak from the initial table for this k link, allocating this link (1) the carrier of index s ∊ M for which the decision function is maximum, updating the orthogonal table of the link to the value from the initial table with carrier s, and deleting from set M the index s that corresponds to the allocated carrier s. |
