<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a volume of a corrosion part of a steel material under a coating layer to be nondestructively measured. <P>SOLUTION: A two-dimensional distribution measured value of reflection intensity is obtained by using an electromagnetic wave of a frequency range of 100 [GHz] to 10 [THz] and performing an electromagnetic wave measurement while interposing a coating layer for each two-dimensional measurement position of the coating layer surface of an object to be inspected; (a) an irradiation light electric field reflection coefficient l is calculated by using a reflection light electric field of each measurement position at the two-dimensional distribution measured value, to obtain an intrusion photoelectric field reflection coefficient k for each measurement position; or (b) an electric field attenuation factor m is calculated to obtain the intrusion photoelectric field reflection coefficient k for each measurement position (S5); a thickness d<SB POS="POST">R</SB>of a corrosion layer of the steel material under the coating layer of the object to be inspected is obtained for each measurement position by using the intrusion photoelectric field reflection coefficient k (S6); and a volume V of a corrosion part of the steel material under the coating layer of the object to be inspected is obtained by using the thickness d<SB POS="POST">R</SB>of the corrosion layer (S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
