<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high power pulse light generator, including a master clock generator, an optical oscillator, an optical amplifier, an excited semiconductor laser optically connected to the optical amplifier and a drive section of the semiconductor laser, capable of preventing breakage to the excited semiconductor laser when output pulse light is reflected on a body to be irradiated, is made incident into the high power pulse light generator as return light and reaches the excited semiconductor laser. <P>SOLUTION: A control section is provided to synchronize a master clock from a master clock generator with oscillation pulse light from an optical oscillator and pulse-like driving current from a drive section and to control the rising timing of a driving current pulse and is configured so that an excited semiconductor laser is not set under a laser oscillating state when return light reaches the excited semiconductor laser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
