<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam type torque damper capable of absorbing torque fluctuation corresponding to large and small torque fluctuation. <P>SOLUTION: The cam type torque damper 100A which includes an input rotary member 101, an output rotary member 105 arranged on the same axis, a pair of damper cam members 110, 120 relatively arranged on both rotary members in a relatively non-rotatable state and generating relative displacement in an axial direction caused by relative changes of a rotational phase while they come in contact with each other, and a first urging means 111 for urging both the damper cam members in a contact direction where at least one 110 of both the damper cam members is movably arranged in the axial direction, includes a regulation member 112 for limiting the movement of both the damper cam members in the contact direction with the first urging means, a second urging means 121 for compensating the shortage of the movement of the regulation member 112 in the contact direction and making both the damper cam members come in contact with each other by an urging force smaller than the first urging means, and an initial compression section 109 for making both the damper cam members come in contact with each other to resist the first urging means when the second urging means is compressed at a designated or higher level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
