PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing mesoporous transition metal nitride is provided to adjust the size of pores in the nitride according to reacting times and reacting temperatures without an additive such as surfactant. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing mesoporous transition metal nitride includes a process in which nitrifying transition metal oxide. The transition metal oxide is selected from Mo, Cr, Ta, Zr, V, Ti, Hf, Nb, W, the oxide of the same, and the hydrate of the same. The transition metal is reacted with one or the mixture of nitrogen compounds such as ammonia, cyanide, and nitrogen. The nitrification is implemented at 400 degrees Celsius or more for 15 hours or less. |
