<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing apparatus capable of properly displaying a stereoscopic video in accordance with a position of a viewer, and further to provide a video processing method. <P>SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, there is provided a video processing apparatus comprising: a viewer position detector; and a viewable region controller. The viewer position detector detects a position of a viewer using a captured video. In a case where the viewer position detector can detect the position of the viewer, the viewable region controller sets a viewable region in which a plurality of parallax images displayed on a display can be stereoscopically viewed in accordance with the detected position.
