The module (1) has a holder (4) holding two crash boxes (3) at an assembly carrier (2), where the crash boxes are fastened at a longitudinal beam of a vehicle. Components to be aligned with respect to a joint pattern i.e. symmetrical joint pattern, of an outer layer of the vehicle are arranged at the carrier. The holder allows tolerance compensation in a vehicle transverse direction (Y). The holder comprises a holding element that is designed as a T-fitting (5). A vertical bar (6) and a horizontal bar (7) of the T-fitting are arranged at distance from the carrier and the crash boxes.
