摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently manufacturing a gas sensor element with high productivity, by enlarging effective utilization range of a flame spray frame in forming a porous protection layer on a surface of the gas sensor element with a plasma flame spray method, and to provide a gas sensor element having the porous protection layer achieving both of high durability and high responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of gas sensor elements 10 are simultaneously arranged inside the flame spray frame FLM which is sprayed from a flame spray gun SPG and has a concentration distribution in which concentration of powder of flame spray material gradually decreases from the center to the outside. Each of the gas sensor elements 10 is rotated in a circumferential direction with a longitudinal axis of the gas sensor element 10 as a center, and the flame spray gun SPG is moved relative to the plurality of gas sensor elements 10 so that each of the gas sensor elements 10 passes a site having the same concentration in the concentration distribution in the flame spray frame FLM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
