PURPOSE: A paving type wave dissipating block and a shore protection or a breakwater paving construction method thereof are provided to increase productivity, to reduce construction costs and to maintain the binding power of blocks against the invasion of waves by replacing an existing riprap protection and wave dissipating block. CONSTITUTION: A paving type wave dissipating block(100) includes an upper projection(110), a lower end connector(115), a support leg(120), a latching projection(130), a chamfer(140) and a pattern(150). The upper projection is composed of an upper side formed with a flat cylinder shape. The lower end connectors are installed in series with a dome shape on the lower end of the upper projection. The support legs are installed in series on the lower part of the lower end connector and protruded in three directions downwards with a mutually identical gap forming an angle of 120°. The latching projections are installed in series on the dead ends of the support legs with a broader gap than the gap of the support legs. The chamfer is formed in between the support legs and the latching projections. The pattern is formed on the top surface of the upper projection or on the circumferential surface of the latching projection. |
