The reader (100) has a communication device (106), base (110) and a transmission-reception coil (102) for communication between the reader and a mobile unit, where the base includes an upper wall (111) including an upper face (111a) to receive the mobile unit. A communication unit (112) exchanges information with an external logic controller (300) i.e. control panel's control computer, of a car by a transmission unit (302) i.e. multiplexed link. A control device (104) controls the coil and transmission and reception devices (106e, 106r), so that the coil exchanges signals with the mobile unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control panel of a car (2) a method for adjusting configuration of passenger compartment of car by a near field electronic tag reader.
