The rectangular scaffolding etc. frame sections (11) are located across two parallel flanges (29) with a toothed profile to grip the bottom cross-members on tube ends of the frames. The frames are held in the vertical setting by other slotted flanges (30), above the lower flanges, gripping the sides of the frame upright. No other fastenings are required. The pallet is made from pressed sheet metal. The sides of the pallet have slots (35) for lifting forks.
