<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting a supplementary cutting line so as to divide periphery glass, when cut glass of a glass plate is taken out of the periphery glass. <P>SOLUTION: The method of setting a supplementary cutting line includes setting a first point P1 and a second point P2 so as not to contain two arbitrary points which have an angle over 180° between the mutual normal vectors from the two points on a cutting line C1 of a glass plate 1; setting a removal direction of a divided fragment of a second glass 3 surrounding first glass 2 within the angle region θ between a normal vector N1 from the first point P1 and a normal vector N2 from the second point P2, and then setting a supplementary cutting line C2 which is not parallel to the removal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
