<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device which improves the design flexibility of an external terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric device 1 has: a base substrate 5; a piezoelectric element 7 mounted on the base substrate 5 in a face-down manner; an extension member 9 joined to a side surface 11c of the base substrate 5; and external terminals 3 provided at a lower surface 9b of the extension member 9. The extension member 9 exposes a lower surface 11b of the base substrate 5, from among the base substrate 5 and the piezoelectric element 7, and covers the other area.
