<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate a change in a mouse cursor of a server to a client while retaining a response performance of a local echo type mouse cursor in a screen transfer system. <P>SOLUTION: A pointer position correction method includes: receiving, from a client connected to the server via a network, event information input by the client and including an event that causes a pointer to move and a position of the pointer after the movement; storing the received event information in an event history; as a result of executing the processing on the basis of the event information, when the position of the pointer has been changed before and after the processing, determining whether or not the changed pointer position matches any of pointer positions in the event information stored in the event history; and, as a result of the determination step, when the changed pointer position does not match any of the pointer positions in the event information stored in the event history, notifying the client of the changed pointer position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
