The vessel has a cover (11) for covering the vessel, a heatable vessel base part (5) and a vessel wall (8) extending upward from the vessel base part. A liquid storage unit (22) is arranged on an upper side of the vessel base part and operated with continuous or controllable exit of liquid, which is collected in a region of the vessel base part. An upper side of the cover comprises a support (13) and a setting-up steaming attachment (14) provided on the cover. A recess is formed in the cover and/or a base of the steaming attachment. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooking a food product in a bottom-side heatable cooking vessel for an electrical operated food processor.
