<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of excellently forming a toner image to a recording material. <P>SOLUTION: A deflection detection unit 60 is provided between a fixation unit 30 and a paper ejection unit 50. The deflection detection unit 60 detects a state where the deflection amount of a recording material is a reference value or less between the fixation unit 30 and the paper ejection unit 50, by being in contact with the recording material pulled along a conveying direction. As a result, without contact with the recording material before fixation and without deterioration of a toner image, a deflection state of the recording material can be detected. Further, even if the recording material is a non-chewy sheet material such as a thin sheet paper, the deflection state between the fixation unit 30 and the paper ejection unit 50 can be excellently detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
