<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the waste of a toner used for mark printing, and to enable a second printing device to correctly perform printing so as to correspond to a side printed by a first printing device. <P>SOLUTION: This tandem continuous paper printer includes a first printer engine, a second printer engine, and a printer controller controlling the first and second printer engines. The printer controller has a display part displaying part of printing data printed by the first printer engine, a portion of the part of printing data is selectively displayed on the display part, and the selected portion of printing data is defined as page identifying information 300b'. When a first page 301 that is firstly fed to the first printer engine is blank, alignment for printing of the first page 301 with respect to the first printer engine and the second printer engine is performed based on the selected page identifying information 300b'.
