PURPOSE: A method for composing information about wireless network APs(Access Point) and using the same and a device thereof are provided to supply information about each AP to select an optimal AP by composing the information. CONSTITUTION: An API(Application Program Interface) reporting unit(311) composes AP property information. The API reporting unit reports a remote place server through a communication network among a plurality of heterogeneous networks. The AP property information includes information about confirmed signal strength, information about a measured use bandwidth, and identification information of an AP. An AP selecting unit(312) transmits an AP recommendation information request to the remote place server. The AP selecting unit performs an access request to an AP written in AP recommendation information received in response to the request. The AP recommendation information request includes information about the signal strength of one or more APs included in a wireless data network and the identification information. |
