摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting errors in a dual core system are provided to individually judge the errors of final data by core without communications between the cores, and to control transmission outputs to a vehicle in order to block the outputs of the data with the errors when the errors are generated in at least one core. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for detecting errors in a dual core system includes a first core(110), a first CAN(Controller Area Network) module(120), a CAN transceiver(130), a second CAN module(140), a second core(150), a controlling unit(160), and an AND switching part(170). The first core includes a first identifier in data detected by a sensor, and calculates a first data. The first core implements the sampling of the first data prescribed times in order to detect the errors. The first core outputs the first data when the errors are not detected. The first core outputs a first transceiver-off control signal when the errors are detected. The first CAN module processes the first data according to CAN protocol, and then outputs the first data. The CAN transceiver transmits the first data received from the first CAN module to a vehicle network. The second CAN module processes the first data fed back from the first CAN module according to the CAN protocol, and then outputs the first data. The second core includes a second identifier in the data detected by the sensor, and calculates a second data. The second core compares the first identifier and the second identifier in order to detect the errors. The controlling unit outputs a second transceiver-off control signal when the errors are detected by the second core. The AND switching part outputs an interrupt signal for deactivating the CAN transceiver when at least one of the first and the second transceiver-off control signals is input.
