PURPOSE: A washing apparatus is provided to use a detergent dispenser which is capable of selectively inserting a powder or liquid detergent for washing laundries for enabling users to easily clean the detergent dispenser. CONSTITUTION: A washing apparatus comprises the following: a cabinet; a tub which is installed inside the cabinet for storing washing water; a drum which is rotatably installed inside the tub; a motor which drives the drum; and a spring and a damper which support the motor and the tub. A detergent dispenser(200) is installed on the lower side of an upper plate of the cabinet, and comprises the following: a dispenser housing(210) forming a path for transferring a powder or liquid detergent; a detergent insertion tray(220) detachably mounted on the dispenser housing; and a liquid detergent drawer(225) installed on the detergent insertion tray to be slid.
